A Ball to Remember

This year we attended the invite-only New Year's Eve Gala at Caesar's Palace.

My inspiration for my attire this year was old hollywood

Dress: This dress is called the "Snejana One-shoulder evening gown" by {BCBGMaxAzria} - I could not recommend it more! It was so comfortable, flattering and easy to wear. It is definitely the most comfortable formal gown I've ever worn.  Fur coat: Michael Kors, last seen {here}. Shoes: Jimmy Choo (my wedding shoes, still getting used!). Earrings: Lulu Frost via The Outnet c/o. The clutch is old and I don't remember where it is from!

Here are some snapshots and instagrams from the evening!

I always call this hairstyle "Hollywood waves."

A sequin tablecloth! Obsessed!

Weekend roundup by the numbers:

# of oxblood items purchased: 4
# of studded items purchased: 2
# of hours spent relaxing at the spa: 4
# of hours spent shopping the big sales: 384920
# of live performances of Gangnam Style witnessed: 2
(One was an impersonator, the other was REALLY HIM!! Die!
Perfect way to end 2012!!)

In other news, I have decided to lay off the oxblood, stud and spike purchases because when the day comes that I'm over it, half of my closet will be in trouble.  I always have a couple of fall trends that I can't say no to. This year for me it was oxblood and studs.

Hope everyone had an amazing New Year's!
Cheers to 2013!!!!

xoxo,
