Central Park Snow Day

No hard feelings, Nemo.  You canceled my flight but then got me a free upgrade and a few extra hours to play in the snow. Who can complain about that?

This day in Central Park was absolutely gorgeous. If it hadn't been so cold, I think we could have walked around for hours just looking at the pretty snow. It was like walking through a real life Central Park snow day postcard. 

Fashion week is/was amazing, and there really is nothing like experiencing an amazing fashion show, for me at least.  There is something so thrilling about the entire experience: being inspired by the designers' vision, getting a fresh start with a brand new season, and afterward watching first hand how fashion eventually permeates everything else, as it trickles into mainstream pop culture.  (My husband gets goosebumps when there is a flyover at a football game. I get goosebumps at fashion shows.) But it's an experience like walking through a snow entrenched Central Park that reminds you that, fashion is inspired by this, not the other way around.   Unless you think the snow came because I packed this icy, silver top - perfect for a snow day photo, in which case, you're welcome.
