NYC Adventures

Today’s post is another outfit from fashion week. How am I not caught up on these yet? Anywho, I was definitely wearing a coat on this day, don’t be fooled.  Holly and I ended up running all over the city on this morning, getting crepes, stopping by Laduree, hopping in and out of curbside snow mountains … we had a few free hours and took full advantage. I don’t know how these shoes didn’t get ruined. Probably should have worn this look on this day but it’s all good. Impromptu adventures for the win.

This wrap is the kind that you’re supposed to actually wrap around your shoulders, for an off-the-shoulder look. Being inspired by this recent Michael Kors wrap, and also just inspired by not being cold, I swapped it up and crisscrossed it around my neck/chest and then tied it in the back around my waist, so that I could layer it with a coat! It worked out well and kept me cozy! :)

I love that top, especially the pleats that are sewn just a bit off the shoulder! You look very elegant but not too stuffy; you still look fun!
I really like your style. I’ve had my blog for a few years just trying to nudge myself back into the community after a hiatus.
I have a lot of trouble with balancing between the professional and button-pushing ensemble line. This is a perfect example of something to emulate. Thanks!
