I’ve decided a cape is the best way to deal with faux fall. Sure, it is officially FALL, but in Georgia it’s pretty hot in the middle of the day. A cape looks “fall” but provides very little warmth. Faux fall perfection if you will. This cape I scooped up earlier this year (previously seen here) but it is currently sold out so I listed several similar options below since a few of you asked from the instagram post!
In other news, this dress is Altuzarra for Target, and I’m LOVING it. It was the item I threw in my “cart” at the last minute just for fun and ended up being the item I liked more than the crane dress which is what I was originally dying for. (All the reviews say order a size up in that crane dress, a memo that I did not get, so mine was way too tight.) General thoughts on the collection though: 2 thumbs up. I also got the booties (which hadn’t arrived yet when I shot this outfit) but they are my FAVORITE. I passed on them when I placed my first order, but then I took to instagram to see what everyone else got … and #PeerPressure everyone’s boot photos kind of sold me. Thanks instagram friends! So yes, I went back and ordered them. Of course you can’t just buy one thing at Target, even when shopping online, so I caved and bought the double pearl earrings. Duh. They’re sold out now so here is the similar pair everyone is scooping up!
