We are back with week 3 of Holiday East vs. West Style! This week’s theme is hosting! With the holidays in full swing, I’m sure we’re all doing a little bit of hosting! I’m one of those people that loves to host, but I also let it totally stress me out! I’m learning more and more to try to just go with the flow – everything doesn’t have to be pinterest perfect. But yes, I’d prefer it to be. Ha! :-)

I thought this dress would be perfect for hosting a holiday brunch. Last year we had family over for a big brunch a week before Christmas. I was hoping to do the same thing this year but we still have to nail down a date that works for everyone! (It might have to end up being after Christmas!) I think hosting a brunch is a nice way to just dip your toe into the hosting game – less pressure than a Christmas Day lunch or Christmas Eve dinner, right? Since many breakfast casseroles and dishes are easy to make the night before and just pop in the oven the day of, I ended up doing several big dishes last year and just made the bacon and other sides the morning of the brunch. It was actually easier than I thought! And the plus side? Yummy breakfast leftovers for the next few days!
