Today I have a very exciting product review for you guys! As I’ve mentioned before on the blog, I don’t consider myself to be an over-the-top “product” person. I get much more excited about clothes and shoes than I do about skincare, makeup, etc. The one exception to the rule however is when it’s a big season change time, and I’m dying to swap up my routine. That would be now. I love getting rid of that winter skin feeling and bringing out goodies more suitable for spring than the winter doldrums. In other words, when Caress asked if I would like to review their new Forever Collection Body Wash, I jumped at the chance!
The thing that makes this new Forever Collection of Body Wash so exciting is the fragrance touch technology. The breakthrough technology of Caress Fragrance Release Pearls™ releases bursts of perfume whenever you touch your skin, up to 12 hours. I don’t love an overpowering scent of any kind, so I was a little curious to see what this fragrance touch technology was all about! The verdict: it definitely works, but don’t worry – the scent is not overpowering. It’s kind of like a scratch-n-sniff type situation, although I don’t recommend scratching your arm throughout the day to see if it’s still working, although I totally did.
The “Love Forever” scent (the bottle with red graphic) is more of a floral / berry type scent, and the “Adore Forever” (pink bottle) is more of a honey, vanilla scent. I love both, especially for spring. If you’re a scent snob, you may enjoy knowing that Loc Dong, a world-renowned perfumer and fine fragrance expert who has created over 40 renowned scents for major fashion and fragrances houses, is the expert behind the scent and touch technology for this collection. Pretty cool, right?
*And yes, I toted these bottles down to the beach when we were at Sea Island to take some pics because I thought that would be prettier than putting them in my shower! Also, they have a bit of an exotic summery beachy smell which I thought needed to be conveyed! Anything for the shot!*
