I am thrilled to share that I have been selected as one of the judges for the 2015 AOL beauty awards! My category is makeup! There will also be awards for skincare, nails and hair, so make sure to check out all the winners at aol.com/beauty/beauty-awards on October 12 when all of the results are in! I am so excited to see how my reviews stack up against everyone else’s. There is nothing worse than spending money on a beauty product only to have it be a disappointment, so I always value reviews & recommendations from friends when selecting a new product.
In the makeup category we will be judging 1) best eye shadow palettes, 2) best bronzer, 3) best liquid eyeliner, 4) best cream blush and 5) best red lipstick. This will be interesting because I’ve actually never found a cream blush that I liked at all, so I’ll probably be pretty picky in that category. On the contrary, I rarely meet a red lipstick I don’t like however, so that should be a fun category!
