Vineyard Vines Cotton Stripe Pintuck Tunic c/o / Jeans / Ivanka Trump Kavita Sandal / Gucci Disco Bag

Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing a look at another one of my outfits from my recent trip to Charleston.  The fun thing about a tunic is it’s versatility. You could literally wear this tunic with anything from jean shorts, to white jeans like I did here, to even over a bathing suit at the beach. This one is also lightweight enough that I could probably layer it under a vest in the fall too.

If you’ve read my blog for any length of time you know I live for versatility in the wardrobe. Nothing annoys me more than researching an item, thinking about it, allotting a fashion budget for it, and then only wearing it once to discover it didn’t hit the mark. Are you with me? Ugh.

I love a good surefire hit. And for me, tunics seem to be hitting the mark lately. A good one will hit you at the perfect place which makes finding a bottom to wear with it a lot easier. This one I will even be able to wear with skinny jeans and boots in the fall. How often do you find a piece that can go from summer to fall without skipping a beat?

This other tunic from Vineyard Vines even has little pockets on the sides which I think would be super handy. I really love a good tunic dress too. This one is gorg.

How was everyone’s weekend? We stayed in town, since football season has basically already kicked off for Charles. If you’re new here – my husband is a high school and college football official, so falls can be very busy! This year he is in a new division that has him traveling all over the place. So basically, every Friday night and Saturday, I catch up on blog work! haha ;)  I think we are heading down to Sea Island for Labor Day though, so I’m excited for a little last summer getaway!

PS – Have you guys noticed the new layout and logo? I’ll be doing a full post soon on the new features this layout has, but let me know if you notice any kinks in the meantime pretty please!!

Thank you again to Vineyard Vines for sending over some goodies for Danielle and I to rock on our trip to Charleston! Love Danielle’s chambray top by Vineyard Vines she wore here.

Thank you to Jessica at Smith Photos and Ink for these photos.

PS special thank you to this product for helping my hair out in these photos … I feel like you can see it was right on the edge of disaster. Very borderline, but I’ll take it. #Charleston #humidity #help.

* Did you know surefire was all one word? I thought it was two. Sure fire. Learn something new every day.

Hi friends! I'm a Georgia based wife & mom. I started blogging in 2009 (!) and have covered a range of topics over the years, but in 2021 I am placing an emphasis on finding the good things to celebrate. In 2020 I think we have all learned to cherish time with family, enjoy the little things, and celebrate occasions big or small. I'll share special pieces I find that I believe can punctuate these days for the best. Reach out to me at tiffany@bloomstudiocreative.com if you'd like to get in touch! Thanks for stopping by! Take your shoes off and stay a while.
