Ruffle Sweater (with detachable ruffles!) / Shorts similar under $20! / Leggings I swear by / Ted & Muffy Huntsman Boots c/o, similar under $200
Well hello there! I feel like there have been crickets chirping on my blog and social media accounts lately. Yikes! I’ve been consumed with getting everything ready at our new house, which has been really fun, but definitely has taken over a lot of my brain power and working hours. (I apparently feel the need to research, pin, discuss, get multiple quotes for, etc. every decision extensively!)
Going into the holidays however, I really have been wanting to get back on track with a more regular blogging schedule. Blogging around the holidays has always been my absolute favorite. I love sale roundups, I love DIY projects, I love recipes, I love party attire, … the list goes on.
SOOOOOO…. in an effort to TURN THINGS AROUND…..
I decided yesterday to take matters in my own hands and fix this. I’ve had a new motto in life this year and it’s awesome.
It’s pretty groundbreaking … wait for it…
If there is something you don’t like about your current situation, 1) recognize it, 2) analyze it & get to the root of the cause (Why is XYZ happening?) and then… (drum roll) …. 3) make an actionable plan to CHANGE IT.
I know.
Groundbreaking!
But seriously, I’ve realized lately that there are very few things that you can’t at least tweak, adjust your mindset on, shift your routine around, whatever, to get to a place that suits your goals or preferences better.
Test and change, they say.
So starting next Monday I will have actual office hours thanks to joining a co-working space downtown & moving my workouts from Monday & Wednesday to Tuesday & Thursday. It’s a small scheduling adjustment but I’m hoping it makes all the difference in being able to make time for #AllTheThings. Because #YOLO.
Tell me, what little changes have you made that ended up making all the difference in the world? I’d LOVE to hear!
Also do you judge me for wearing shorts with tights? It’s kind of my thing so I’m sticking with it. LOL. And these sleeves are giving me life. PS – they are detachable! And the ruffles are kind of making me want to DIY a regular sweatshirt with ribbons on the sleeves. Do you see the vision? I may have to make that happen.
Thank you for stopping by!
That ruffle top is SO FUN!
