Janelle of Style Under 40 and I decided to team up today to showcase a couple of options for what to wear to Thanksgiving!! Last year I went with a pretty traditional fall color scheme with cozy leggings and a flowy soft top so this year I decided to swap it up for a more formal look.
Since Janelle’s blog is all about finding pieces under $40, we thought it would be fun to go shopping one day at Nordstrom Rack for her outfit, then Nordstrom for my outfit, and compare what we found.
First we stopped at Nordstrom Rack to look for Janelle’s outfit. Honestly there were so many options that we were literally in and out in maybe under 40 minutes? Did you know there is a little hidden checkout desk over to the side if you’re paying with a card? Holla! There is in the Buckhead Nordstrom Rack at least.
Janelle decided on this fabulous little floral print dress, with a perfectly warm vest to layer over it. She already had the booties to go with it. Both the dress and vest were under $40!

Next we stopped by Nordstrom to see what I could find!
I decided to go with a little romper number by Topshop. It was the last one, and on sale. I think it ended up coming to about $80, so our outfits ended up being around the same cost. It seems like you can always find something at Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack for a great price.
