This look above still wins the award for my favorite New Year’s Eve outfit in recent history. This was back in 2014 – you can see the whole post here. I loved that while everyone was in short, sparkly dresses, I was quite comfy in this chic black jumpsuit, with pockets! New Year’s Eve isn’t usually the time to go with an understated look but sometimes simple chic can be glam too. (A draped fur and bold lip can go a long way for glamming things up too of course.)
This exact jumpsuit is probably long gone, but I found it on Amazon here in the same exact brand & style just with short sleeves instead of 3/4 sleeves like mine. It has the same tapered leg which looks good with heels. Assuming this is the same material, it doesn’t really wrinkle, which is why I have still been taking it with me on trips even after all these year, because you can totally dress it up, dress it down, throw a sweater over it and just use it as pants, etc. Highly recommend! Plus, if you have Amazon Prime it can be at your house in 2 days. Hollla.
All 3 of these are available through Amazon Prime for my last minute friends. :)
My “harnessed for 2014” look was pretty fun too – totally different! In 2012 I went with a classic red gown, and “hollywood waves” hair. Hehe. This New Year’s Eve look from my “Styled 6 Ways Series” in 2014 was another one of my favorites! It seems I almost always wear a big fur!
PS – Don’t forget you can also go through Shopbop to use your Amazon Prime, and have it to your house in 2 days.
In other news, these free printable New Year’s Eve game cards are pretty cute!
We are still working on making NYE plans, so I have no idea what we’ll be doing, but I hope you have a fabulous end of 2016! I will be signing off until the New Year! Cheers!! xo
