Happy Monday, and happy May! It’s hard to believe we’re already 1/3 of the way through 2017!
Today I just wanted to share a quick look at a few pieces I’ve been loving lately, all for different reasons.
Let’s start with the dress. This is actually the first time I’ve worn this white dress but I’m really loving it. It comes in black too. I’m all about the structured collar, and the bell sleeve kind of makes the the whole look. And it wins points in my book for being on the longer side, which is nice if you’re tall like me or want to wear it to the office. It does wrinkle easily, but for some reason I don’t mind that with this piece. There are only a couple of sizes left if you’re interested. PS – it’s only $37.
These bow heels are my go-to sandals right now. Perfect for the office, church, spring weddings … really so versatile! The bow makes them different and fun, but the lower height make it more doable for long hours.
And last but not least, I have loved using this lightweight scarf from IsleField the past few weeks. As you can see here I tied it on my bag above but then draped it around my neck below. I just love the colors of this scarf and it adds the perfect contrast to my all white look.
Having just recently done a major closet clean out while we were moving, I noticed one thing that I almost never get tired of: lightweight scarves. They are so good to keep on hand for when your arms are chilly, when you need a little something extra in your outfit, or even when you need a makeshift pool coverup! (My favorite way to wear these at the pool is to simply tie it around the waist like a little skirt over your bathing suit.) And to be honest, for some reason I always reach for a printed scarf versus a solid one. I have no idea why, but they just seem to work with more outfits? No matter the season or where I’m going, I pretty much always pack one when I’m traveling!
