Somewhere along the way … (last year? two years ago? three?) I got this little sleeveless top with a ruffle neckline. I keep reaching for it more and more, because, hello, a ruffle neckline. But also, it is just so easy peasy. I finally realized I needed to google it and see if I could just buy it in a few more colors. Because, if it ain’t broke …
Turns out, Mud Pie makes this top in several colors and prints. And did you know, this brand is based out of Stone Mountain, Georgia?
The BEST part? I just toss it in the washer and dryer and it’s fine. The ruffle always stands up perfectly, and it still looks new! And you don’t have to steam or iron it. Hall-el-luh-jah! And it’s a perfect alternative to all my fun summery strapless tops, which require a strapless bra. Ugh. The other best part? It hits low enough that it can still be flattering to wear with white jeans. For us tall girls, this is a struggle. For sizing reference, normally I am a medium but I have this in a large. I think Medium would fit fine too but I like the large for a little extra length. I am 5’9″.
Oh and PS – it’s super budget friendly. Google it (Mud Pie Whitney tunic) to find it in lots of different colors and prints all over the web or shop my roundup below. The absolute cheapest I found my exact top in same color was here, for only $20.50 but there isn’t free shipping. I just ordered this one too. The Amazon links below are closer to $50. If you get it, let me know what you think and if you’re as obsessed as I am! I just love a good random find like this! You can always email me with questions at email@example.com. Wait – update! You do get free shipping at Mud Pie Market if its your first order, with code SHIP2.
Fun side story – one time William wiped greasy hands all over this top mid-meal, and I thought, welp “that’s it, random navy ruffle top, you had a good run.” But then I tossed it in the wash like normal and it was fine. MAGIC, Y’ALL. MAGIC.
This post was not sponsored by Mud Pie, I’m just obsessed with this top.
