Personalized Stockings / best mantle hooks ever / Similar Santa Bag
We’ve reached Griswold levels of holiday cheer over here and I’m not mad about it. Laura came on Wednesday & we decked the halls around here all day long with garland & ribbons & place settings & live greenery in every nook & cranny we could find. (Thank you Laura! You can hire her for your holiday decor too – info@lauranayinteriors.com)
We’ve already been watching Christmas movies and drinking cocoa too. I just love this time of year.
And to top it off, I’ve finally ordered matching family pjs for Christmas Eve / Christmas morning, which I’ve been meaning to do every year and always procrastinate or decide it’s a little overboard. My theme for this year is o.v.e.r.b.o.a.r.d., so we’re going with it. ;) (Charles will not be thrilled. Hehe)
Anyway I wanted to share that we ended up going with these plaid pjs from Pottery Barn (adult size here / child size here). They are on major sale, which meant I was able to deck out the whole family for just under $100! The sizes are almost gone though, so we lucked out. I got 3T for William instead of his normal 2T because they were sold out, but hopefully they won’t be too big and he will also be able to wear them next year. Fingers crossed.
These are the ones I ordered:
And here are some others I found that could also be good:
I also love that the plaid isn’t specific to the holidays, which means we can still wear them throughout the winter, which is good.
Here are a few more items on my holiday cheer checklist ;)
- Bake & decorate sugar cookies
- Make a gingerbread house
- Paint more ornaments (like I did last year – you can see here)
- Watch lots of Christmas movies
- Master a new hot cocoa recipe
- Throw a little party with friends
- Go Ice Skating
- Take William to see lots of neighborhood lights (we’ve already been doing this one a lot! LOL)
What’s on your list? xo
