Oribe Shampoo  + Moroccanoil Body Wash  //  Skindinavia Primer + L’Occitane Eye Makeup Remover

Spray Nair + ScarAway Discs  // Philip B. Large Round Brush + John Frieda Compact Dryer

I’ve been doing a lot of beauty testing this summer, and wanted to share a few of my favorites with you. I happen to find that some of these work fabulous together in conjunction with other products so I paired them up for the ultimate beauty guide! Here we go!

Oribe Shampoo + Moroccanoil Body Wash = ultimate scent heaven from head to toe.

I was introduced to these 2 products by Bluemercury. (Have you visited Bluemercury in Buckhead yet? I’m doing a full review of some of my favorites from here later this week.)

Oribe – One word: scent. 2 more words: fabulous hair. I promise I do not ever. ever. ever. go crazy with expensive hair products, but this one has been a game changer for me. The smell is amazing. It is paraben and sulfate free. I’d consider this shampoo the best of the best. I believe it is worth every penny. And all the different Oribe products smell the exact same, FYI, so just get whichever style suits your hair type.

Moroccanoil Body Wash c/o – Again, the scent you guys.  It just smells amazing and makes your skin feel fantastic.  I became addicted at first try and have already gone back to Bluemercury to stock up. I haven’t used any of the other Moroccanoil products but I have heard they have fabulous hair products as well.

Skindinavia Face Primer + L’Occitane Eye Make-up Remover = now you see it, now you don’t.

Skindinavia Face Primer c/o – Yes, a makeup primer that you can spray on and go! I have used a primer before that broke my skin out, which was odd, but this one did not. I felt like the application was light enough that it did it’s job but didn’t clog pores in the process. Perfect! I don’t use a primer everyday, but I do think it is good to have one on when you’re expecting a long/hot day and really don’t want to sweat off your makeup.

L’Occitane Eye Make-up Remover c/o – Many eye make-up removers seem to be either not harsh enough (so you have to keep scrubbing to get the makeup off) or too harsh, which burns your eyes. This one was perfectly in the middle for me. I like to use this with the flat cotton pads instead of a cotton ball for the perfect swipe-off-and-done move.  This makeup remover is always seemingly sold out online everywhere but I’m fairly certain you can find it in L’occitane stores, (find one close to you here).

Spray Nair + Scar Away Discs = fabulous legs.

Spray Away Nair – I got laser hair removal years ago, which worked fabulously, but I do still have the barely there fuzz that isn’t even thick enough for a razor.  Know what I mean? You really can’t see it, see it. Yet it was still annoying to me. I randomly saw the spray version of Nair at CVS one day and thought – hey, lets take it back to 1980 and give this a try. No offense Nair – you worked like a charm! You do stink though. Still, I’m sold. No more little tiny blonde hairs lurking on the knees. Plus, whatever chemicals are in Nair seriously do like a mini exfoliation on your legs! (Can anyone verify this??) I swear it’s like your legs have gotten a little glycolic peel and your skin looks and feels way smoother. It feels like it removes dead skin?  Maybe this is in my head.

ScarAway Discs c/o – The thing I love most about these is that it’s basically like a little bandaid that you can put on, with the medication in it, and then you go about your day.  You don’t have to worry about Vitamin E oil getting on your clothes or anything like that. I like putting these on right before bed, so I’m getting beautified while I sleep. #Winning

Philip B. Large Round Brush + John Frieda Compact Dryer = the perfect blowout.

Seriously, these 2 together give your locks an extra shine. When I take the time to do a full blow-out and I use these 2 together, I always get compliments on shiny hair!

Philip B Large Round Brush c/o – I had to get used to using a round brush in a blow-out since normally I use a paddle brush, but the results are worth it.  Something about these bristles leave my hair super soft and sleek after a blowout. Plus it definitely adds some body to your hair, with a bit of a curl at the ends.  The only problem is I can’t stop touching my hair during the day when I use this brush! It feels so smooth! (For just regular brushing and styling I love the GHD paddle brush!!)

John Frieda Salon Shine Compact Dryer c/o – I was beyond due for a new hairdryer so I was thrilled to test this one out. It is lightweight, dries my hair fast, and gets the job done. This is probably the first hair dryer I’ve ever gotten that I actually hung onto the nozzle attachment – highly recommend using that!! Why have I never used one before? On another note, this bad boy is super inexpensive and you can pick it up at pretty much any drugstore or online at Ulta here.

So there you have it folks! These are just some of my favorite products right now, and I’ve got a whole new batch coming up soon too, so stay tuned!! xo

Hi friends! I'm a Georgia based wife & mom. I started blogging in 2009 (!) and have covered a range of topics over the years, but in 2021 I am placing an emphasis on finding the good things to celebrate. In 2020 I think we have all learned to cherish time with family, enjoy the little things, and celebrate occasions big or small. I'll share special pieces I find that I believe can punctuate these days for the best. Reach out to me at tiffany@bloomstudiocreative.com if you'd like to get in touch! Thanks for stopping by! Take your shoes off and stay a while.
