Now that William is a little older, he understands what it means to get dressed up & he’s so excited for Halloween. We narrowed it down to either him being a train conductor or fireman this year, but fireman came out as his clear choice. He’s already been practicing putting out pretend fires in our backyard. Ha!
We ordered the boots and hat from Amazon (which he’s been wearing nonstop). I decided to go with a handmade felt fireman vest via Etsy, because I thought it might last a little longer if he wanted to play dress up later. He’ll probably wear plain black pants and and a black shirt under the vest. I haven’t gotten those yet because I’m waiting to see if it’s going to be sweltering hot or freezing cold – you never know this time of year in Georgia!
This costume would have been cute if we had decided to go with the train conductor option. Also I got him these shorts from Beaufort Bonnet Company and this shirt & socks, which scream Prince George to me, so he might be an unofficial Prince George at one point during Halloween festivities too. Maybe we’ll just add a little name tag that says Prince George! lol :)
Thanks for stopping by for a long overdue William Wednesday post! ;)
